First year students should register for:
Intro to Analog Photography, Photography I, and 2D Digital Design
Second year students should register for:
Color Photography, Studio Lighting I, Integrative Studio, Moving Images, and Contemporary Photography
To check your progress and Photography Program requirements, please check our Curriculum Check Sheet! On the last page, you will find a suggested sequence of courses per semester. Please keep in mind that most PHO courses are offered only once a year! If you don't register for them this Fall, you will have to wait until next fall to take the courses, which may delay your graduation.
Advisement for Fall 2025 Schedule:
All photo majors should contact either Nicole or Hrvoje via email or in-person (nschwartz@ccm.edu / hslovenc@ccm.edu) so we can help you with your FA25 schedule. We will help you create the schedule that fits your needs and can meet with you on Zoom or in-person! Please schedule your appointment as soon as possible.
NON-MAJORS:
Photo majors have pre-reqs for photography courses. Are you a non-major interested in taking a course with a pre-req? Contact us and we can waive you in!
Are you a non-major in need of a GenEd course? Consider registering for History of Photography or Photography Appreciation! If you want to learn basics of digital photography, register for Photography I! Online and hybrid sections are available.

2025-2026 Jim Del Giudice Memorial Scholarship
We are thrilled to announce that the 2025-26 Jim Del Giudice Scholarship for Photography Majors will be opening next month! The scholarship is awarded to two photography majors at $5,000 for full-time students and $2,500 for part-time students. Be on the lookout in next month’s newsletter for more information, eligibility, and deadlines!
